The urban area of Avignon is the one with the highest level of food autonomy among the top 100 French urban areas, with 8.12% of local agricultural products incorporated into the various food products consumed locally.

There are many markets and farms. We particularly like to stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables at Semailles (11 minutes by bike from Les Airis).
